Add about 2/3 of cane sugar to a jar or container of your choice. Next mix in about 1/3 of either coconut oil (melted in the microwave at 15 second intervals) or olive oil. This varies depending on the size of your container. It is best to add the liquid slowly and stir as you go.
Your final consistency should be semi-dry- like sand that is just a little damp.
At this point you can add your favorite scented oil or try squeezing a pinch of lemon in the sugar for an uplifting clean feeling.
Some scents that I have tried and can be found at your local health food, GNC or craft stores:
- Lavender oil
- Tea tree
